Richter, Gál and Bakos have stolen valuable paintings from a museum. During their escape, however, they accidentally exchange the black suitcase containing the booty for another. The hunting after the paintings starts. The "Master" has Bakos liquidated in retaliation. Even the corpse finds its way to a suitcase. The burglars finds a clue: their target now is the elementary school teacher, Lengyel Béla, who keeps all his belongings in suitcases. His life is rather confused, he is just in the process of persuading his divorced wife's current husband, Varga to lend him some money. Richter and his gang start following the two drinking fellows and the wife. A mysterious Woman appears, who continuously entangles the threads. When a picture-framer appears on the scene, the way of the suitcases becomes impossible to reconstruct. The two burglars have followed a false clue, and they eventually find themselves in their respective suit-cases, in between the tracks of the railway. And the train is coming. (Verleiher-Text)
