Nach seiner spektakulären Flucht aus einem Gefängnis sucht Bankräuber Sam Unterschlupf. Er findet ihn auf einer einsamen Farm, bei der jungen, attraktiven Witwe Clydie. Doch die Landidylle trügt. A classic, average Van Damme flick. It’s nothing to write home about, but in its time it held its own. Today, however, things aren’t so good for Jean-Claude.

Why Jean-Claude Van Damme took on such a serious role remains an unresolved mystery to this day. But it’s not so tragic. Jean's character remains somewhat shrouded in mystery and we don't learn much about his motives and past, but the attention is drawn to Rosanna Arquette in the role of an emancipated woman with two children, and the heartless magnates led by a devilish Ted Levine. The action is decent, the sex is better, and the final clichés are not missing either. A classic 90s snack.
