Der Narr und die Königin

Wirklich fürchterlich. So ein tolles Theaterstück und so ein schrecklicher Film. Uninteressant und in vielen Hinsichten unabsichtlich dumm. Was nützt es, dass er eine zusätzliche Handlungslinie in der Gegenwart (oder vielleicht in der Realität?) hat, wenn sie nicht mehr als das erwähnte Theaterstück sagt, welches viel wirkungsvoller und nachdrücklicher ist. Einen Stern gibt es nur für die Schauspielleistung von Bolek Polívka. (03.04.2014)

I haven't seen the theater performance, but the film version really got to me. It is a clever play on the theme of power and the human will of those in higher positions. Of course, considering it is an allegory, it is something that doesn't resonate with everyone. However, the cast is excellent, and it is noticeable that the married couple in the main roles knew each other very well, and the intellectually inclined biting humor adds to the film in my eyes. Overall impression: 80%. (16.04.2009)

He’s mad. And I won’t comment on the movie itself. It was a proper madhouse. But it was the right fit for Bolek Polívka. (11.12.2013)
