A young country boy is plunged into the depths of homicidal madness after witnessing the strange exploits of a carnival "geek," a caged drunk so desperate for whiskey that he bites the heads off of live chickens in front of a freak show audience. Thirty years later, Luther is all grown up and out on parole after spending his childhood behind bars for a series of grisly murders. Armed with a pair of razor-sharp metal dentures and only able to communicate through chicken clucks, Luther restarts his bloody rampage as he terrorizes the citizens of a small town and takes a young mother and her family hostage in their isolated farmhouse. Ein überraschend seriös wirkender Horrorfilm auf der Trom, in dem ein gestörter Psychopath eine Mutter mit ihrer Tochter und deren Freund auf einer abgelegenen Farm terrorisiert. Das vollkommen primitive Thema wird jedoch durch eine recht ordentliche Atmosphäre, ein paar aufgestochene Kehlen, abgebissene Hühnerköpfe und die großen Brüste von Stacy Haiduk aufgewertet. Das einzige humorvolle Element ist wohl sein Gegacker, und genau dank dieser eigenartigen Artikulation setzt sich die Hauptfigur auf ihre Weise mit dem Wahnsinnigen auseinander. Gack, gack.
