The Girl Skateboard company has a sizeable reputation, and this fascinating documentary illustrates all its virtues. With infamous director Spike Jonze on board, alongside cohorts Ty Evans and Cory Weincheque, this is a skillfully filmed look at one of the most prolific skateboard teams around. Some breathtaking footage involving camera trickery and Jonze's unique imagination ensues, including a startling invisible skateboard sequence, and an appearance by actor Owen Wilson. Upping the ante for skateboard movies, YEAH RIGHT! deftly combines skillful direction with some incredible skating. (Verleiher-Text)
