Im Jahr 2022 geht John T. Robbins wegen Befehlsverweigerung und Mordes an einem Vorgesetzten hinter Gitter. Da er sich gegen den sadistischen Direktor auflehnt, landet er auf der illegal geführten Gefängnisinsel Absolom. Ein sicheres Todesurteil, vor dem es eigentlich kein Entrinnen gibt. Auf dem öden Eiland hausen die 'Outsiders', die alle Neuankömmlinge töten. Sorgfältig plant Robbins seine Flucht aus Absolom. (ORF)
