While producing Lee Daniels' The Butler and Jean-Marc Vallee's Dallas Buyers Club, legendary indie film producer, Cassian Elwes encountered an unruly passenger on a Jet Blue flight from JFK to LAX. The frightening events tweeted by Cassian the same night went viral and made headline news. The unruly passenger was detained in a maximum-security facility in Denver to face a 20-year sentence. The emotional impact of the incident continued to resonate within Cassian and threatened to derail the movies he was producing unless he could come to grips with it.
