Kis Katalin and Varga Jóska are getting married. During their honeymoon they are preparing plans for the future. Katalin, however, seems to lag behind both in her studies and the work competition, becoming a couch potato version of a wife. Jóska, instead of trying to help, does nothing else than his work. Katalin decides to move back to her family's place. Thanks to Barna, the party secretary, however, she regains strength, proving, step by step, that she is capable of quality performance. Gortvay's plot of sabotage is directed to Katalin, now changed, but the plot happily falls through and the couple is reunited. Katalin, an eminent worker and student at the same time, is tentatively admitted for party membership. Now Jóska has a lot to learn from her. (Verleiher-Text)
