Fast. (Constantin Film)

Englisch Gropiusstadt 2003 is a rough place where the rules don't work. If you don't steal it, you don't have it. It's a demanding and realistic portrayal of the lives of a group of boys who are trying to get through life, even though obstacles are constantly thrown at them. Levy Rico Arcos was absolutely accurate and vivid in his debut. I can't imagine how tough these kids must have had it. The script has no dull moments, and it's funny and cruel at the same time. The camera enhances the film's unrelenting pace and the music is packed with energy. ()

Englisch A little known but solid effort from the Germans, set in a tough German ghetto where four kids have a rough time as they get involved with drug dealers and get in debt, which leads to the robbery of the school computers. Another film that shows a rough European neighborhood where the kids have no money and this leads to crime. The mood is reminiscent of rougher Nordic films with similar themes. Good for me, it grabs from the beginning and doesn’t let go. 8/10 ()
