The premise of a monster driven by parental hysteria is great. Unfortunately, Grimcutty failed to use it for anything more than a barely average teen genre flick that only in a few scenes lets you know that it could have been something more. It would need a complete rewrite (the way it is, it’s absolutely absurd) and also a monster redesign that doesn't look ridiculous.
