A truck driver Michal, played by charismatic Eryk Lubos, is often on the road in Europe. His ten-year-old daughter Míša is taken care of by the grandmother of her best friend Lena. As it turns out later the grandmother and Lena are illegaly in Poland. By many coincidents, Michal has to take care of both girls, but he is in danger of losing his job. It seems, the only solution is to go to Lena’s family in Ukraine. For both girls growing up in the shadow of current events in a changing Europe, the journey to Ukraine is also a journey to adulthood. During this journey Michal realizes that he will not run away from his demons. (3Kino Fest)
