Tong ban tong xue

This is not a film about sex, even though it may seem that way. This is a film about how difficult it is to grow up, how difficult it is to change into a woman. And also about the fact that no one makes it easy for you and that it is quite easy to take steps in the wrong direction. Visually stunning, narratively good, and overall I really enjoyed it, thanks in part to its relative explicitness. (07.01.2016)
