A meditative journey to the Irish village where John Ford shot his masterpiece The Quiet Man (1952). Fiction and reality are intertwined in a series of narratively loose scenes in which Guerín sketches parallels between the fate of Ford's protagonist – an Irish immigrant to America – and the lives of the local inhabitants.
