Herr Baron, gestatten Sie, dass ich mich zum letzten Mal vorstelle. Cyprián Kachle, Zichorie-Fabrikant. Ich mag Operetten, ich mag Parodien und ich mag alle Schauspielerinnen und Schauspieler, die in diesem Film erschienen sind. Deshalb zögere ich keine Sekunde und bewerte ihn mit fünf Sternen. Ich bin wirklich erstaunt, was für tolle Werke im verstaubten Fernseharchiv herumliegen. (04.10.2011)

It might require a bit more detachment from me, but honestly, I'm not a fan of operettas. Not even when they're presented to me as parodies. Many songs, in my opinion, only highlight the low standard of operetta production of its time. If I have to mention something positive, I was favorably impressed by the encounters with the lesser-known Pavlína Filipovská, Václav Trégl, or Jaroslav Šterc. Otherwise, this piece could very well remain in the television archive. After watching, I realized that there's a small grain of truth in the speeches of those who speak of Podskalský as the embodiment of shallow entertainment and socialist variety shows. Not that I identify with these people, but I understand their perspective now. Overall impression: 45%. (02.12.2009)
