Arbeitsameise Z-4195 steckt mitten in der Sinnkrise. Im riesigen System seiner Kolonie fühlt er sich verschwindend klein und unbedeutend. Als sich Z unsterblich in die schöne Prinzessin Bala verliebt, ändert sich sein Leben im Nu. Um seine Angebetete wiederzusehen, tauscht er mit einer befreundeten Kriegerameise die Rollen. Per Zufall avanciert er im Kampf gegen die Termiten zum Helden. Doch General Mandible bedroht Z's Glück mit gefährlich verräterischen Plänen gegen die Königstochter. (ORF)
