Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Heathens (2017) (Folge)
The second episode delivers a clean vendetta. We have the interesting character of Aberam Gold on scene, as well as Brody as the fancy gangster.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - The Noose (2017) (Folge)
A fractious family, one excellent scene in the kitchen and of course Adrien Brody as Luca Changretta arriving on the scene in a perfectly flamboyant, typically Italian posh style. And with a good accent. It is clear from the start that this will be a more than capable adversary.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Season 3 (2016) (Staffel)
The Shelby family is clearly benefiting from being dealt higher cards and climbing up the food chain. The natural growth in technical quality thanks to the audience success of the previous episodes is a matter of course, and so the third season delivers a a truly great gangster drama, with a style by the standards of the series. It’ll be very interesting to see what happens next.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Episode 6 (2016) (Folge)
Probably the best episode ever so far. Emotional, fateful, with several over-the-top moments, the strongest of which is probably Tom Hardy with his haunting and mesmerizing "on point" monologue.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Episode 5 (2016) (Folge)
A return from hospital, a visit to a Russian brothel and a very strange jewelry scene with an even stranger Alfie, played flawlessly by Tom Hardy. A bit of a weaker episode in a very strong and balanced third season, but still very good.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Episode 4 (2016) (Folge)
One of the darkest episodes. Priest's character in particular is brilliantly portrayed and becomes the ultimate counterpoint to everything the Shelby family has been building from the beginning of their story. Probably never has killing given such satisfaction as this time.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Episode 3 (2016) (Folge)
A mournful episode and quite understandably so. The Russian noose tightens and everything is crowned with a nerve-wrecking scene in the harbour that is exemplarily emotional.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Episode 2 (2016) (Folge)
The Russians, a priest, the Italians. There's gonna be a lot for the gypsy gang to deal with this time. The highlight of this episode is an unforgettable scene with an insult to a mafia boss for whom the viewer must have some sympathy.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Episode 1 (2016) (Folge)
An impressive opening in the form of a wedding and business plans. It's clear that Shelby is moving up the food chain and it will be interesting to see how the writers handle the fact that the street gang is aiming at high politics and will have to deal with the real issues of the rich like money, power, influence, and not only who to beat up or whose pub to burn down.

Peaky Blinders - Gangs of Birmingham - Das Grab (2013) (Folge)
The scene with the father is understandably one of the most memorable. A chilling experience that Arthur had to endure.
