Seupayi Myeong Wol (2011) (Serie)

Englisch I was expecting another nice romantic k-drama and got an indescribably beautiful all-time favorite. Eric had such a fantastic role here that it makes my knees buckle just thinking about it. God, he's got charisma! Myung Wol was terrifically wild in the first half, I enjoyed her so much. The plot is pretty ridiculous though, there were a lot of rookie mistakes, but I don't see them. Nor do I want to see them. How many fits of laughter I had and how many times my heart ached. And the endings... I could never stick with just one episode. I couldn't get away from it, so it only took me three days to watch it. Work or no, sleep or no. The last time I experienced anything like this was with Boys Over Flowers. A unique experience that I’m certain won't be the last time. And also... the music! 5 stars.

Hyangdanjeon (2007) (Serie)

Englisch Kind of a twisted story with a great deal of humor. For the girls, it may also be an opportunity to get a glimpse of the handsome Choi Si-won. I can't say he did anything special here in terms of acting, but it was still a nice glimpse. Ji-hye Seo surprisingly fit the role of the "Cinderella" Hyang Dan for me. It was a nice twist to hear the funny music with lyrics written to fit. I was also entertained by the multiple references to American films. If you don't expect anything spectacular or clever, you'll certainly be entertained. A strong 3 stars.

Koria (2012)

Englisch Yes, it's true that if everything was like this movie, Korea would probably be a little different now. But this way it's more entertaining for the viewer, and more importantly, more moving. My dear Ji-Won Ha did not disappoint, Du-na Bae won points with me for the first time. I have no complaints about the other actors either. I'm surprised at what can be made out of a fairly ordinary story. I would have enjoyed the important moments even more if they had been accompanied by catchier music. 4 stars.

Keopeuljeu (2011)

Englisch A perfect and terribly cleverly thought out film! I think Si-yeong Lee surprised me the most. She plays subtle roles everywhere, and here she was finally able to show her face properly. I've been convinced of the quality of the other actors before. At the beginning, I didn't think the plot would turn out this nicely. Along with the wonderful humor, it just makes sense. 5 stars.

Arangsaddojeon (2012) (Serie)

Englisch Joon-gi and Min-ah, once again a combination I totally succumbed to. They both may have better stuff in their closet, but this piece just had to be made! Not only the two of them, but the supporting characters are also well fleshed out, so there are no dead spots at all. A beautiful story that I watched not just with my eyes, but with my heart. Plus the horror atmosphere and the beautiful music. Arang and the Magistrate simply got to me.

Ted (2012)

Englisch This movie is no different from many mediocre American comedies. They just swapped the fat rude friend for a chubby rude bear. Can't say I didn't laugh a few times, but I could count the few good lines on one hand. Again, that American simplicity and stiffness that makes me sick.

Agassileul bootakhae (2009) (Serie)

Englisch For a lead foursome that is one star bigger than the other, there was definitely more that could have been wrung out of this. The script is just weak, and even the few charming scenes can't save it. Moreover, some things seemed unfinished to me. I think what annoyed me the most was Eun-hye Yoon's weird hairstyles and sometimes outfits, especially in the first episodes. As Vavča said, Sang-hyeon Yoon didn't exactly rock the hairstyle either. On the other hand, I must praise the nice and catchy music, which I now unconsciously hum almost every day. Barely average.

Gojijeon (2011)

Englisch A very nice story, for which I especially appreciate the fact that it's not one-sided. It doesn't just have one main character, it has several. Therefore, everyone can choose their own. The fact that the film doesn't focus on the individual but on the whole makes it even more poignant and intense for the viewer. In addition to the great Soo Ko and Ha-kyun Shin, I have to mention the (so far) not very well known Je-hoon Lee, who from film to film appeals to me more and more. When you offer your heart to a good war movie, you have to expect that it may be broken at the end. And that's exactly what happened to me. Hoon Jang has thrilled me yet again. A very powerful experience. 5 stars.

Big (2012) (Serie)

Englisch The Hong sister writers have excelled again. Big will charm you with above average humor, many touching scenes and atmosphere with a dash of fantasy. That said, Yoo Gong gives an incredible performance here. I dare say it's quite possibly his best role ever. Min-jeong Lee couldn't really outshine him, but she definitely held her own. The supporting roles have a variety of characters, so the viewer doesn't get bored with them either. From what I've seen so far, this piece is one of the top three BEST from the past year.

Inhyeonwanghooui namja (2012) (Serie)

Englisch The beginning didn't make the best impression on me, but once "the couple" bump into each other, it's off to the races. I'm not at all surprised that they fell in love in real life, because I wouldn't want to come out of such a nice fairy tale either. The shortened running time of each episode is a big plus in this case. The story is very nicely thought out, to the point of surprising me at several different points. All accompanied by lovely music. Love has really transcended time and place here. And finally, some good kissing... 4 stars.
