Born in Quebec, he studied graphic design but quickly wound up as a roadie for a rock band, and on movie sets. He then worked as an art director on over a hundred advertising campaigns before becoming a filmmaker. After making numerous shorts films, music videos and commercials, he wrote and directed his first feature film, slasher Discopath, presented at Gérardmer Festival in 2014. His second film, Aquaslash, was created as an homage to the heyday of 1980s horror movies.
