Biografie

She’s a film producer and director. Graduated from Audiovisual Communication from ORT Uruguay University. She studied at the EICTV in San Antonio de los Bańos (Cuba) where she attended the Documentary and Film Essay Workshop led by Naomi Kawase. In 2020, she participated in the Buenos Aires Talent of the Berlinale Talents. She’s a professor at the ORT Uruguay University. She is a member of the filmmakers’ community of the Platino Awards and curator of the Aging and Film Festival. For more than ten years, she has been working in executive production and content for television. She is co-founder of Monarca Films together with Eugenia Olascuaga, where they have produced the films El hombre congelado by Carolina Campo, Ópera prima by Marcos Banina, Ocho cuentos sobre mi hipoacusia by Charo Mato, Delia by Victoria Pena, Para no olvidar by Laura Gabay and Cambalache by Rosalía Alonso. The film, Ese soplo, was her debut as a director, released in Uruguay in 2023. She has participated in various festivals and markets such as Malaga, Sanfic, Visions du Réel, San Sebastian, Sundance, Torino, FicMonterrey, DeiPopoli, DokLeipzig, among others. On a national level, her films got great scope and visibility.
