He is a well-known award winning feature film and documentary producer/director in India. His feature film New Delhi Times was acclaimed by critics and won 4 awards in India’s National Film Festival. He produced and co-directed the feature documentary The Journalist and The Jihadi: The Murder of Daniel Pearl, a co-production with HBO that was nominated for two Emmy awards. He has also written, produced and directed the feature documentary Ahimsa- Gandhi: The Power of the Powerless, that was showcased in the United Nations where it was recognised with the Global International Peace Award. He has also served for five years as Head of the Evaluation Committee appointed by the Government of India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
