Simon Cartwright

Simon Cartwright's lifelong love of animation led him to study it at the Edinburgh College of Art before going on to write and co-direct the acclaimed stop-motion short The Astronomer's Sun (2010), which went on to win 17 awards at festivals. In 2013, Simon went to study at the National Film and Television School, and it is there that he began combining live-action puppetry and digital animation for his graduation film, Manoman.
