Isabel Orellana Guarello

Chilean producer, film programmer and feminist activist. From her company Araucaria Cine she has produced the films Muerte Blanca (2014), Nunca vas a estar solo (2016), Lettres à l’administration (2017), Petit Frère (2018) and Inmersión (2021). Her productions have won awards at Berlinale, Locarno, Karlovy Vary, DOK Leipzig, FICGuadalajara and have been distributed internationally.  She is a founding member of the Association of Independent Producers API CHILE and president for the period 2019-2021. Elected as the Chilean representative for Emerging Producers 2019 JIHLAVA. Since 2012 she works as Programmer of FICVALDIVIA where she selects films for its Official Selection, Chilean Cinema of the Future and the curatorship of New Paths.
