Peter Zach

Biografie

Peter Zach, born in the Austrian city Graz in 1960, is an author, director and cinematographer. He did not only studied sociology and ethnology at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, but also completed the course of media there. Zach co-founded the movie newspaper BLIMP and until 1988, he was the chief editor. In addition, he worked as a cinematographer for the ORF and as an editor for the WDR-TV-program "Aktuelle Stunde". His full-length documentary "Malli – Artist in Residence" (1993) was honored as 'Best Austrian Film' at the Film Fest Wels in 1994.
