Shani Heckman

Shani Heckman is an award-winning filmmaker who works professionally in the Bay Area as producer, art director and editor for films and videos. Shani also spent five years in foster care, which inspired her to make America’s Most Unwanted. Her next documentary was Aging With Abraham, about an orthodox Jew and his lesbian friend. Shani completed her MFA in Cinema at San Francisco State University.
