Biografie

In 2004 she graduated from the Institut National Supérieur des Arts du Spectacle et de la Diffusion (INSAS) in Brussels. At 21, she visited the home country of her parents, the Comoros Islands, for the first time and began to orient her work on memory on the themes of exile and the uprooting. La Résidence Ylang Ylang (2008), selected in the official competition of the Cannes Festival, is the first 35 mm. film made in the Comoros Islands, and her first short film as a scriptwriter and director.
