Biografie

Born in Milan, he graduated in Modern Literature and attended Ipotesi Cinema, the laboratory created by Ermanno Olmi. In 1992 he made the medium-length film "The wait", which participated in numerous festivals and won several awards. In 1998, with the documentary "The days off", he won the FEDIC Award for Best Young Author. After "The hidden gaze" in 2004, with "Cutting the parts in grey” he won the Pardo for Best First Film at the Locarno Film Festival in 2007 and was selected in competition at several international festivals, including London, Buenos Aires and Mexico City. In 2018 he realizes "The light steps", selected in Italian and international festivals (Prague, Barcelona). In 2020 he made the short film "The healing". He teaches direction in various educational realities (IULM, Civica Scuola Luchino Visconti, Istituto Cinematografico Michelangelo Antonioni).
