Biografie

Serbian screenwriter and director. Born in 1955 in Belgrade, he graduated in film directing from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 1982, and in 1986 completed a TV directing course at the NHK Communications Training Institute in Tokyo. He has directed numerous commercials, documentaries and television series as well as stage plays. He has worked for Belgrade television. He has won many prizes for his short films, including the Jury Prize at the Cannes festival in 1987 for "The Sudden and Premature Death of Colonel K.K". In 2003 he directed his first full-length film, "A Small World" (WFF 2003). "Train Driver's Diary" is his third feature film.
