Joost Conijn

Joost Conijn is an artist, filmmaker and writer. He studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and the Sandberg Institute. Conijn is known for his projects with self-made machines; he examines the boundaries between human beings and technology. Conijn wrote a book about his travels in a self-made aircraft, entitled Piloot van goed en kwaad. In 2000, he received the Charlotte Köhler Prize for young artists, and in 2005 the Cobra Art award.
