MEIRO Koizumi (1976, Japan) is a Japanese artist and filmmaker, who makes performances and video installations. He was educated at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London and at the Rijksakademie of Visual Arts in Amsterdam. His work is provocative, and history is often an important theme. This is also the case with his most recent installation Oral History (2015). Meiro is also both a member and co-founder of the Artist's Guild, which is an interest group for visual artists in Japan.
