Sigrid Klausmann (1955) is a German producer, screenwriter and director. Before she began as a documentary filmmaker, she worked for a long time teaching dance and choreography. In her work she focuses on topics related to children and youth, which she films all over the world. She made her debut with You're gonna fly! (Fliegen wirst du noch!, 2007). Of her other works we'll mention Lisette and Her Children (Lisette und ihre Kinder, 2009) and the TV series 199 Little Heroes (199 kleine Helden, 2013–2015).
