Biografie

Chris Lackey co-produced, co-wrote and directed the animated feature film, THE CHOSEN ONE starring Tim Curry, Traci Lords, Lance Henriksen, Chris Sarandon and Laura Prepon.
THE CHOSEN ONE was awarded "Best Experimental Feature" at the 2007 Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival.
Chris has co-written, illustrated and directed a number of successful animated shorts, including The Investigators, which was nominated for "Best Internet Video Premiere" at the 2002 DVD Premiere Awards, competing against films by Tony Scott and John Woo. His animation work can currently be seen on the VH1 comedy I Hate My 30s.
Chris has enjoyed the success of Andrew Leman's silent film adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's best-known work, THE CALL OF CTHULHU, for which Lackey acted as Associate Producer. The Call of Cthulhu was an official selection of the 2006 Slamdance Film Festival and won the Les Prix Tournage (Grand Prize - Best American Feature) at the Avignon Film Festival. The film has been touted as the best Lovecraft film ever made and has been critically acclaimed by horror fans around the world as well as such horror luminaries as Ramsey Campbell and Stuart Gordon.
