Dan Via's playwriting debut, DADDY, enjoyed hit productions in New York and LA for which he earned enthusiastic reviews for both his writing and performance in the role of Stew. A former Congressional staffer and arts contributor to The Washington Post prior to embarking on his acting career, Dan has performed with many of DC's leading theaters, (highlight: the title role in Jerry Springer: The Opera). He was also member of DC's critically beloved "upstart" Catalyst Theater Company and has been a member of LA's award-winning Son of Semele Ensemble. Dan can be seen in the role of Gabe in the acclaimed, multi-award winning web series "Anyone But Me."
