Laurie Weltz is a filmmaker from New York, where she graduated at New York University. She's involved in screenwriting, directing, producing and editing. Her artistic portfolio includes documentaries, TV series and short films. Among other networks, she's worked with HBO and UK Channel 4. Her feature film directorial debut was Wrestling with Alligators (1998), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and won many prestigious awards. Her screenwriting work is also respected.
