Jade, who comes from Hong Kong, is completely in love with her boyfriend Peter who lives in America. When she moves there, Peter convinces her to temporarily marry Bo, an unemployed boxer, so that she can immigrate and eventually becomes his bride. She accepts his suggestion but the fact is Peter just wants her money. Peter disappears, leaving Bo and Jade penniless. With anger, Bo kicks Jade out of his home, but finally takes her back when Jade has no other choice. They gradually fall in love with each other. Bo's gambling debts force him to step back into the boxing ring. He gains enough money to repay all his debts in one game. An accidental luggage switch leaves Bo and Jade a mobster's stash of cash. To regain their loot, the mobsters kidnap Jade. After a severe fight, Jade is rescued while the mobsters and the money are at the police's hand. (Joy Sales)
