The conflict in Yemen has contributed to one of the worst humanitarian crises of our times. The documentary gives a voice to those who are often drowned out in the world media by bombings and political speeches. Dr Aida Alsadik and nurse Mekia Mahdi have one thing in common: they both care for malnourished children affected by the terrifying war in Yemen and the famine that is advancing with it. In one of the poorest countries in the world, where almost 80% of the population lives below the poverty line, their lives have become a daily struggle to save people. Thousands of children suffer from malnutrition and often find themselves on the thin line between life and death. But the care and determination of the nurses from the two largest Yemeni hospitals give them hope. (One World)
