Englisch Israel is a fascinating country and it is true art and proof of extraordinary talent to make a travelogue that will have at least an average rating. The Tuček family has succeeded with great help from Veronika Žilková. Due to her husband's diplomatic work, she could theoretically be an informed guide to the Holy Land, but she often lacks the storytelling charm that is evident in Michael Palin's travelogue presentations, for example. The travelogue becomes a one-woman show with Žilková, who replaces a factual approach with forced joking and forced humor. It is awkward at times and, above all, self-centered. It lacks a meaningful concept and, even with the best intentions, it does not achieve more than an overall impression of 40%. Veronika Žilková has not become, nor will she become, a quality guide in documentary form. She would be better suited for the theatrical stage... ()
