The film isn't all that interesting for the case it presents, although it's not a typical one itself. Its main appeal lies in the insight it offers into legal work and how facts are discovered - what it really means to defend someone you might not even believe yourself. And then there's the incredibly charming Jeremy Irons, who you can hate as well as admire.
