Für den Archäologen Sir John Willard geht ein Traum in Erfüllung. Er findet das Grab des Pharaos Men-her-Rah. Doch bei der Öffnung der Grabkammer stirbt Sir Willard an einem Herzanfall. Kurz darauf kommt auch Felix Bleibner, der die Expedition finanziert, ums Leben und in New York begeht dessen Neffe Selbstmord. Schon spricht alles von einem Fluch des Pharaos, der Rache für seine gestörte Ruhe nimmt. Lady Willard beauftragt Poirot damit, sich vor Ort ein Bild zu machen, da sie um das Leben ihres Sohnes fürchtet. (one - ARD)

As soon as something happens in Egypt, I'm simply enthusiastic about it. I love Egypt. Moreover, here you can see Hercules in Egypt, which doesn't suit the sand and heat at all. That is also a beautiful contrast. Agatha managed to explain perfectly how the curse of a tomb can work if it is exploited by an intelligent and twisted person who knows a little about psychology.
