Greek Myths: Tales of Travelling Heroes

“Stories of Greek heroes are fundamental for Western culture and civilization,” states Lan Fox, probably the most significant historian focusing on ancient Greece, who spent 35 years in the field, uncovering Greek history. Mr. Fox, Professor emeritus at Oxford University, presents his experience and life-long scientific work in the classic BBC programme. The programme shows the origins of Greek mythical stories and the archetypes they represent. Traveling together with the heroes, we are living the stories of child cannibalism, heroic battles with giants, and forbidden human love.
