Professor Pavel Hobza, the most frequently cited Czech scientist, describes what preceded and followed a fundamental and unexpected breakthrough that changed our knowledge about chemistry. The documentary portrays the life and work of the scientist from Přerov with the highest citation index in the Czech Republic by interviews, comments, and archive photographs. The professor explains hydrogen bonds, the subject of his research, and recalls the course of his breakthrough discovery. He gained recognition throughout the scientific community and a privileged position in the field of organic chemistry and biochemistry.
