A lauded Thai mainstream horror romance that definitely has charm, but is more fairy tale than horror for my taste. The film is nicely made, has an original idea about a demon that attacks a woman's body and separates her head from her body at night, and goes hunting everything that breathes and lives. This happens to the main character in a small town where a group of demon hunters are currently running around, as well as her two rivals in love. It's two hours long, so the pacing is slower and it does get a little too romantic at times, but when it comes to the action it's pretty solid, there's occasional gore and some decent practical make-up effects to commend. Definitely the most interesting horror film of the last month, and deserves attention for its originality and execution. 60%. ()
