Historias Pequeñas

Set in the eventful five-day period of the 2002 Venezuelan military coup, five fictional stories occur between the start of the coup and the return of President Hugo Chavez. As the coup plays out, often seen or heard in the background through TV, sounds, and noises, ordinary lives unfold in extraordinary situations. Just how much does a political upheaval affect the everyday lives of normal people - from the homeless to the working class to the white-collar professionals? Each story is a part of history, offering commentary on normalcy in chaos. (Cinequest Festival)
