First Class Asylum

In June 2013 a group of refugees put up tents in Munich’s Rindermarkt market square and went on hunger strike, and subsequently thirst strike, in a bid to get themselves recognized as asylum seekers. A public demonstration of despair watched closely by the cameras. (DOK.fest München)
