Madness, Farewell

The holiday season has arrived in Los Angeles. Fledgling comedian Liza Ocampo is determined to commit suicide, but can’t quite figure out the right way to do it. Unable to pull the literal trigger herself, she hires a newly legalized "hitman firm" called Club Noir, which offers to do the dirty work for its clients. But when Liza arrives for her date with death, she finds the appointment has been double booked with fellow suicide hopeful Gus Francis. In this darkly entertaining comedy, Liza and Gus bond over their shared desire to end their lives and choose to spend their last day on earth exploring the city together. (Napa Valley Film Festival)
