As a crucial sign the hourglass repeatedly appears. Time is fading and memories, too. Vom Gröller shows a very private film with a twinkle in the eye. Optical brackets of a “New York Times”-film critic hold the film together: Half-awake he declares his admiration for Tarkowski and Kieslowski and apologizes for having fallen asleep watching Friedl’s film.
