Nicolas is furious. They have, once again, broken into his house and stolen his bicycle. He could swear he saw a suspiciouslooking type in the vicinity of his house that day. Outside, beyond, the city stands destroyed by an earthquake and under curfew by order of the military government. He accompanies his mother to the courts to see if he can recognize the thief.
