Technological devices increasingly take over our lives. But ¿how much of our lives pass through them? ¿Can they become so omnipresent to the point of questioning the interaction with others, or our own identity? At a social gathering of friends, including dumplings and wine, a spontaneous competition arises where each one flaunts the new application of its gizmo. The new fetish. Which is the “Tamagotchi” of today? When our physical presence is no more necessary in the exchange with others we are still communicating, but something becomes more uncertain: Doppelganger.
