It's probably quite an important event in the fight for rights in the United States, but overall, I felt that it was presented to me as very cold and lacking in passion. Kerry Washington will probably be celebrated for her performance, but I wasn't a fan of her character Anita, just as I wasn't a fan of Thomas either. Both characters are uninteresting to me because they are portrayed uninterestingly.
