Gostinica "Rossija"

Moscow, 1976. Xenia works as an administrator in the Rossiya Hotel. She is responsible for the reception and comfort of the guests, which consist mainly of the Soviet elite, criminal leaders, and high-level foreigners. The hotel represents the whole world, in contrast with the banal Soviet reality. The breathing of another life - luxurious, unknown, and attractive - is felt here. It is a place where the interests of different political and international groups are crossing. This world has its own rules, and it's impossible to enter into it without connections. It takes a lot of luck and hard work to obtain and hold a job here: Xenia works in an atmosphere of suspicion and intrigue. A covert race for power is taking place in the hotel, and it is not possible to maintain neutrality. The presence of a Nicaraguan named Manuel, who is purchasing weapons in the USSR for a takeover in his country, makes Xenia's position even more difficult.
