12 year old Astrid and her friends are in the same ski jumping team. One day everyone's worst fear comes true on the cold, icy slopes. One of the teammates makes a crash landing. Astrid stands alone and watches her friend leave in the ambulance. An inner struggle begins as her reluctance to jump encounters with her need to overcome her own fear. There is only one way down.
